Interestingly enough, it’s the leadership characteristics we typically consider the least that I’ve, personally, come to rely on the most throughout my journey.
These 7 books, in particular, have been instrumental in my foundation building as a leader and catapulted my ability to identify the right talent, enhance working relationships, and communicate with others on a much more effective level. Now, the point of this post is to not get into the details of what happened to throw me off my game and put me in a rut. Instead, the point is to share with you how I manage through this and other situations like it. And my personal strategies to help me get out of my ruts and eventually get back into my flow.
5 Steps to getting out of your rut...
Don't just write down what you did. Articulate how AMAZINGLY you did those things. Articulate a skill/strength, passion, or impact within EACH task description. Example...
